Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR)

The EICR is designed for customers who require a detailed inspection and test of their fixed wiring. At NJS Limited, we are dedicated to helping you ensure your electrical installations are maintained in a safe condition..

What’s Included?

We will examine all installations for compliance with the latest British Standards (BS 7671 IEE Wiring Regulations). When an EICR is performed on the property, the electrician will need to disconnect the installation from the mains electrical power supply. Depending on the size of the property, this may be required for anywhere between a few hours to a whole day. Some larger installations, especially commercial or industrial ones, days or even weeks may be required.

Why Test the Installation?

Due to several factors (damage, wear and tear, excessive loading, and ageing), all electrical installations deteriorate. Through testing, existing faults may be identified and subsequently corrected. Potential faults can also be prevented, omitting future loss of electricity and costly down-time.
